What is BrainAnalyst ?
BrainAnalyst is a stand-alone, server-based and cloud platform software, leverages of 20 years of cutting-edge and innovative researches conducted in High MRI Neuro-Images Processing fields. BrainAnalyst was developed with special dedication to the End-Users: all processes are fully automated without required User interaction, providing results in few minutes, which can be widely broadcasted on PACS, Review Workstations and even Smartphones. BrainAnalyst works in various environments, either on the BrainAnalyze or Partners Cloud Servers, featuring CPU processing scalable abilities (for Grid / Cluster computing), or locally on Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, or Linux Operating Systems, even on MRI Manufacturer Workstations Systems, in several Setups, from Single User Workstation to Multi-Site Local Server configuration, which can be fully integrated in PACS environments, MRI manufacturers workstations, and “Pay-Per-Use” on-demand requests. What does BrainAnalyst ?
BrainAnalyst does automated processing & analysis of several MRI Neuro-Images Diseases (Stroke, Brain Tumors, Alzheimer, Multiple Sclerosis, Seizures, Mild Brain Injuries, Depression, Cognitive Impairments, aso…), from MRI sequences such as Diffusion (Mono and Multi-Compartimental), Diffusion Tensor (DTI, HARDI or DSI), Perfusion (DSC, DCE & ASL), functional MRI (Box Car, Events Related or Resting State paradigms), Fibertracking, Voxel-Based Morphometry, Structural, Functional and Effective Connectomics, Brain Functions Evaluations, and also offers to the End Users Learning-Oriented Vascular, Grey and White Matter Structural and Functional Neuro-Anatomy Atlases. All BrainAnalyst processes are starting with pre-processing tasks such as Brain Masking, Motion Correction and Template Registration, to ensure in any circumstances the most accurate results. Quality Control checking are available for the End-Users in all Automated Tasks to provide efficient control on the provided results.

Workstation, Server or Cloud Setup ?

  • Local Workstation: End-Users interactions are required to load images, view the resulting maps and reports, compare exams, get anatomical & functional informations in the Connectopedia Knowledge DataBase, aso… Some specific features are only available in this Setup, such as Manual Fibertracking, Atlases consulting, Images Manipulation, End-Users Functions, aso…
  • Servers: No End-User interaction required ; the End-Users are sending Dicom Images from a Local PACS or Workstation to the Server. The Server does recognize the type of MR Dicom Images (Diffusion, Perfusion, fMRI, DTI, …) and processes the Data. When done, the resulting Dicom maps and PDF reports are sent back to the Source (PACS, Workstation, aso…)
  • Cloud: The Dicom Images are sent from anywhere, from Mobile Device / Laptop / Desktop / Workstation / PACS to Cloud Servers, which anonymize & encrypt the Data to ensure privacy & GDPR compliance. The Cloud Servers send the encrypted / anonymized Data to BrainAnalyze Servers for Image Processing on dedicated Docker Machines (Twenty available for Diffusion, Perfusion, DTI, Fibertracking, fMRI, VBM, Lesions Analysis, Stroke & Tumors Assessments, Image Pre-Processing, aso…). When processing is done, the resulting Dicom Maps & Reports are sent back to the Cloud Servers, then to the Source.

On Local Worstations or Serers, Multi-cores Intel class CPU (at least twelve cores, sixteen are recommended for Basic Package), 16 GB of RAM for Basic and Functional Connectomics Packages, 64 GB for Fibertracking and Structural Connectomics and >128 GB for Local Server configurations), an OpenGl 3.x compatible Graphic Card, 5 GB of free Disk Space for program (SSD / MVE are better), 10 GB per study of free Hard Disk space, Full HD or 4K Display Monitor, and effective internet connection (for online help, and remote tasks and services). VR Compatible Device for Virtual Reality Module (HTC Vive or Oculus Rift), and at least NVIDIA GeForce 1070 GTX.

On Cloud OVH or AWS Servers, only a high speed internet connection. Viewing and Processing of MRI Series are available on any mobile device (smartphone, tablet, …) or simple Laptop / Desktop Computer.
